Born in Rome to a Tuscan father and a Piacenza mother, Maurizio Panconesi joins Euroverde Agricultural Society in October 2014 espousing the winning philosophy of the Brescia-based company: "Teaming up and working, as it happens with us, all in the same direction sharing the basic policy and strategies to make it concrete. All this aimed at building with the customer a contagious and synergistic complicity for the benefit of the consumer."
He immediately distinguished himself as a charismatic figure capable of providing a decisive breakthrough useful for the management and expansion of the industry market on a national scale. "I was impressed by the project," he began, "presented to me by the Commercial Director Franco Rollé I have known for almost 20 years for professional reasons. I found it compelling and different from previous ones in which I had been involved and threw myself heart and soul into it. The results came in and continue to prove us right."
Maurizio Panconesi dwells on the plus of the Azzano Mella company: "Our added value is the production and processing of 100% Italian vegetables, without pasteurizing them and looking more and more at the world of single-portion. I like to say the enhancement of democratic food by pandering to the tastes of the end consumer, even when we are talking about family tastes. With single portions, one can satisfy the palates of husband and wife, for example, at the same time, perhaps offering the former a pasta e fagioli and the latter an onion soup or vice versa."
The interview closes with a look at the future and the short- and long-term goals of Euroverde Agricultural Society: "To broaden the weighting of distribution by being able to include our products even in chains in which they are not present to date, and to continue the growth trend that now characterizes us, settling in 2017 alone at 30%. The prerequisites for doing so are all there, and among them is also the attractive packaging of our references that want to transfer to the consumer the idea of the process that brings craftsmanship to an industrial scale while also and above all respecting the environment, as well as quality and seasonality."
