You know the bulgur? It is a product rich in benefits, properties and vitamins, with a very ancient history and versatility that makes it an excellent ingredient because it lends itself to so many preparations. It comes in the form of coarsely broken durum wheat granules or grains because it is produced by processing whole wheat and undergoes a special process that involves steaming, drying and grinding to obtain the particular granules.

Originating in Anatolia and used anciently by the Babylonians, bulgur is found in many menus and recipes because its grains contain minerals, mostly magnesium, iron, potassium and phosphorus, lots of fiber and vitamins, such as B1, B2, PP and E although preservative cooking is needed to keep them intact.

The result of our bulgur processing is a delicious recipe: red whole-grain rice and bulgur in concert with the soft, velvety flavors of vegetables: green beans, chickpeas, cauliflower, celeriac, carrots, and zucchini enhanced by cranberry for a harmonious balance of flavors.

Try bulgur in cold salads along with grilled seasonal vegetables, cherry tomatoes and a diced cheese or to replace bread crumbs in fillings or for vegetarian meatballs to bake in the oven.
