In summer, it is not only fruits and vegetables. Cereals, for example, are a great ally of meals under the umbrella also because they are nothing but a wonderful mine of vitamins, minerals and nutritional properties and, combined with other products, they turn into delicious recipes and star dishes, fresh and wholesome. Ideal for summer meals, cereals are perfect for tasty salads because of their ease of preparation and accompaniment with other ingredients. But let's discover all the hidden properties of some of the cereals in our offerings:

- spelt: rich in fiber, minerals such as iron, phosphorus, potassium and magnesium, and vitamins A, B2 and B3, it is low in fat and has a higher protein content than other types of wheat. Its high fiber content makes it a favorable food for cleansing the intestines and purifying the body. It is ideal for preparing one-dish meals with legumes and vegetables;

- buckwheat: gluten-free, it is therefore suitable for diets for people with celiac disease. Rich in iron, potassium and magnesium, it is also a source of vitamins B and C, becoming an excellent ally to counteract, in nutrition, cardiovascular problems;

- the millet: also free of gluten, it is therefore an excellent food for people with celiac disease. It is rich in minerals such as iron, magnesium, phosphorus and sicilium and in vitamins A and B. Because of its properties, it is also indicated as a beauty and wellness product;

- barley: rich in calcium, iron, magnesium, zinc and phosphorus, essential fatty acids, trace elements as well as vitamins PP, B1 and B2, it has a very high fiber content, thus becoming a valuable food for its benefits to the well-being of the body due to its therapeutic and aesthetic properties;

- quinoa: it is actually a pseudocereal belonging to the spinach and beet family. Gluten-free, it is a real food panacea capable of adapting to almost any type of diet and, thanks to its versatility and delicacy of flavor, reserves the possibility of elaborating really tasty recipes from appetizer to dessert.
