Halloween Cookies with Mantuan Pumpkin Velouté

  • 1 package of Mantuan Pumpkin Velouté 350 g.
  • 650g. of 00 flour
  • 1 whole egg and two yolks
  • 130 g. of butter at room temperature
  • 190 g. sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon

PROCEDURE

These cookies are frighteningly good, made special by our Mantuan Pumpkin Velouté! Easy to prepare and fun to decorate.

  1. Take a bowl and pour in room temperature butter, sugar, a teaspoon of cinnamon and mix with a whisk.
  2. Add the eggs and incorporate them into the mixture.
  3. Combine the Mantuan Pumpkin Vellutata.
  4. Sift in flour and mix until smooth.
  5. Knead the dough on a floured surface. When it is soft wrap it in plastic wrap and let it rest in the refrigerator for at least half an hour.
  6. Roll out the dough with a rolling pin and create the cookies with shapes.
  7. Bake in a preheated oven at 180° in static mode and bake for 10 minutes.
  8. Bake the cookies and decorate them however you like: with colored icing or powdered sugar.
